Native - "Fitzsimmons"

Native has been staking their claim in the rubber shoe category. Inspired by the Crocs injection mold process, Native puts a semi-aesthetically pleasing twist on the footwear. Thank God!! If you wear Crocs or think they're cool please stay away from my blog. FYI: Crocs made Time magazine's "Top 50 Worst Inventions."

The lightweight one piece boot is not only colorful but also exudes easy comfort. From its neoprene sock liner to its foamy appearing upper these are not only an intriguing model but a functional boot.

Nike MS 78 – Black/White | Pre-Order

Sick

The MS87 definitely carries the classic Nike running DNA and uncannily resembles a mix between the Nike Air Pegasus ‘89 and the Nike Air Epic. This time around, the upper is a generous and opulent mix of black in various material ranging from reptilian print leather to patent leather and fabric. A white Swoosh, midsoles and red accents grounds the sneakers in its casual roots, but with a tan outsole, the sneakers are youthful yet mature and restrained in colorway. The new Nike MS87 is currently available for pre-order via Crooked Tongues, so check them out and judge for yourself.

New Balance ‘Sonic Welded’ Pack

Take a look at New Balance’s new Sonic Welded pack. Used mainly for technical clothing, tents and industrial fabrics, sonic welding is an environmentally friendly alternate to sewing or gluing. The process of heat and pressure application to the seams of pattern pieces fuses the shoe together cutting out waste and crafting the sonic welded shoe to be airtight and watertight. The pack consists of a 574 for men and a 410 for women. They will be available at Conveyor Fred Segal in Santa Monica starting May 13th.

Gourmet “The 28″

I've been following this brand for awhile now. Really rad design constantly hybridizing and crossing footwear genres. As a brand, Gourmet has always stayed true to their story of new, revolutionary, remixed laid back luxury inspired by Italian culture, food, religion and music, and consistently conveying this in their design of product.

Following the introduction of an air unit-style tooling into their range, Gourmet continue with the fusing of the performance-minded outsole style and a conventional upper. “The 28″ includes a moccasin upper constructed in suede with a mesh collar which contrasts nicely with the white midsole. Available soon at select retailers including Crooked Tongues.
